Brawny Chicken Chasseur
Cook time: 45 minutes
a quick and tasty chicken dinner with gravy and tomatoes
Ingredients
- 8 chopped rashers of turkey bacon
- 4 chopped chicken breasts
- 200g of baby mushrooms
- 1 tbsp plain flour
- 400g of canned chopped tomatoes
- 1 beef stock cube
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- Handful of chopped parsley
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil on a medium heat in a shallow saucepan and add the turkey bacon and cook for 4-5 minutes until it starts to brown.
- Add the chopped chicken breasts and cook for around 5 minutes until golden. Increase the heat to high and add the baby mushrooms for 2 minutes. Add the flour and stir in until a paste starts to form.
- Add the canned chopped tomatoes and beef stock cube to the saucepan and cook for around 10 minutes.
- Then add the parsley and Worcestershire sauce to the pan, stir in and then serve.
