Firecracker Chicken

Ground chicken in sweet and spicy sauce. Make some veggies to go with it and you're good to go.
Ingredients
- ½ cup Swerve brown sweetener
- ¼ cup Noble Made Medium Buffalo Sauce
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened applesauce
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon ground ginger
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 teaspoon avocado oil
- 1 ½ pounds 93% lean ground chicken
Instructions
- Add sweetener, buffalo sauce, applesauce, vinegar, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, ginger, and red pepper flakes to a medium bowl and whisk until smooth. Set aside.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook until no longer pink, about 8 minutes. Pour sauce over chicken and stir to coat. Cook 1 more minute. Remove from heat.
- Divide evenly into six airtight containers. Cover and store in refrigerator up to 1 week, or in freezer up to 3 months, until ready to eat.
- To serve, transfer to a skillet and cook over medium-low heat 5 minutes or until heated through.
