  1. Add the olive oil and butter to your cast iron Dutch oven and heat over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the asparagus and garlic to the pot and cook for about 3 minutes.
  3. Move asparagus to a side and add the shrimp.
  4. Cook each side for about 2 minutes.
  5. Add in the lemon juice and cook for additional 1 minute.
  6. Season with pepper and salt.
  7. Serve.
