Sauerkraut Balls
Cook time: 40 minutes
Like the sauerkraut balls at Hey Hey. Super good. Slam them all.
Ingredients
- 8 oz full fat cream cheese
- 2 cups sauerkraut, drained
- 1 pound pork, turkey or chicken breakfast sausage
- 1⁄2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1⁄2 cup almond flour
Instructions
- Drain the sauerkraut well in a colander.
- In a large skillet, over Medium-High heat, cook the sausage until browned and cooked through, 4-5 minutes.
- Add cream cheese and drained sauerkraut to the pan and mix well to combine.
- Turn off heat and add almond flour and parmesan.
- Cover a large cookie sheet with parchment paper.
- Use ice cream scoop and place balls on cookie sheet.
- Add sauerkraut balls to the basket of the air fryer
- Fry for 8-10 minutes at 350 degrees F.
